Membership Qualifications...,

There are five types of membership in the Alcorn State University National Alumni Association. Annual MembershipIndividuals who have successfully completed a minimum of three semester credit hours of course work at the undergraduate level.

 

Associate MembershipIndividuals who are a friend or spouse of an Alcornite or an Alcorn Faculty member, who have demonstrated genuine interest in Alcorn and have expressed a desire to become affiliated with the alumni association.

 

Life MembershipLife membership is $500.00 for those members who have purchased their membership as prescribed in the By-Laws.

 

Exempt MembershipIndividuals age 70 years and above are exempt from paying National Association dues and automatically granted membership in the Association.

 

Honorary MembershipMay include such persons selected by the Association in recognition of outstanding and meritorious service to Alcorn or the Alumni Association.

 

Honorary members may not hold office, nor become members of the Board of Directors. They are not required to pay annual dues.

 

Please Note...Graduating students, both undergraduate and graduate, are given one year's free Annual Membership in the Alumni Association upon graduation.

 

Annual Membership dues are $75.00 per calendar year ($50 - National Alumni Association & $25 - Northeast Mississippi Alumni Chapter).

 

Associate Membership dues are $50.00 per calendar year ($25 - National Alumni Association & $25 - Memphis Alumni Chapter).
