The Foundation is a non-profit, affiliated organization that aids the University in promoting educational and cultural welfare, developing and expanding facilities, and facilitating studies, research, and other academic pursuits.

The Foundation was chartered over 40 years ago, on August 27, 1973, and gained 501(c)3 status the following year. Over the past four decades, the Foundation has protected and grown its assets thanks to the generous contributions of those who believe in the mission of Alcorn State University.

"Always Alcorn" Annual Fund Campaign

You can help give Alcorn students an exceptional academic experience by contributing to the Always Alcorn Annual Fund Campaign. Every day, every Alcorn student benefits from the Annual Fund. Scholarships, academic programs, technology, athletics, and much more—Annual Fund contributions support it all.

When you were an Alcorn student, you benefited from the gifts generous alumni made to the Annual Fund. Now it’s your turn to help ensure the success of the next generation of leaders, this year and every year. Your gift—of any size—really does make a difference!

Combined Federal Campaign (CFC)

Alcorn alumni and friends employed with the federal government in civilian and military roles throughout the world have the opportunity to make donations to the University through the CFC no matter where they live.

Pledges made by federal civilian, postal and military donors during the campaign season (September 1 through December 15 of each year) support eligible non-profit organizations.

The CFC is the only authorized workplace solicitation of federal employees on behalf of approved charitable organizations. The CFC began in the early 1960's to coordinate the fundraising efforts of various charitable organizations so that the federal donor would only be solicited once in the workplace and have the opportunity to make charitable contributions through payroll deduction.
